The base power of this move starts at 40 and increases by 40 with each consecutive turn it's used. This increase caps at a maximum base power of 200. Once it hits this maximum, the power stays at 200 as long as the move is used in consecutive turns.

The power increase happens once per round, regardless of how many Pokémon use the move. Even if the move misses or is blocked, its base power will still go up. The power increase also doesn't depend on the same Pokémon using the move—any Pokémon using it in a consecutive turn will contribute to the power increase.
