⚔️ Magic Coat | Gen 3
Effect:
Magic Coat reflects the first non-damaging move that targets the user and would cause a major/volatile status condition, stat change, and other certain status moves (e.g. entry hazards).
In Double Battles, if a reflectable move targets both Pokémon on a side:
• If the left Pokémon has used Magic Coat, the move is reflected at both opponents and neither partner is affected.
• If only the right Pokémon has used Magic Coat, its partner is affected first, and then the move is reflected back at the attacker.
Soundproof activates before Magic Coat.
Once a move is reflected, Magic Coat's effect ends immediately.
