Effect:
Whirlpool deals damage and traps the target for 2–5 turns. While trapped, the target takes 1/16 of its max HP in damage at the end of each turn and cannot switch out or flee.
If the user leaves the field, the effect ends immediately. The duration is randomly determined with a 3/8 chance each for 2 or 3 turns, and a 1/8 chance each for 4 or 5 turns.If the user switches out, the effect ends. If the target uses Rapid Spin, it is freed.
