⚔️ Protect | Gen 2

Protects the user from all effects of moves that target it during the turn it is used, including damage (unless the move has specific effect to bypass protection).

Does not block damage from weather or status conditions at the end of the turn. The first usage is always successful. However the chance of success is halved each time the user consecutively uses Protect . Protect fails if the user is behind a substitute.
