Effect:
When Future Sight is chosen, the user predicts an attack that will strike exactly two turns later. Nothing happens on the turn it is selected except the message that the user has foreseen an attack.
The damage is locked in at the moment of selection, using the user’s Special Attack and the target’s Special Defense from that turn. If the target switches before the hit, its replacement takes the blow, but the calculation still uses the original target’s stats.
It cannot score a critical hit, is unaffected by Life Orb, and ignores protection moves, and Endure. However, Focus Sash and Focus Band can still allow survival. The attack is typeless : it ignores type matchups entirely, can affect Dark‑type Pokémon and bypasses Wonder Guard.
