Wrap deals damage and traps the target for 2–5 turns.

While using Wrap, neither the user nor the target can act, however they can switch out. The user automatically continues Wrap during this period and cannot select other moves until the effect ends. Wrap deals damage each turn of the effect.

If the user leaves the field, the effect ends immediately. The duration is randomly determined with a 3/8 chance each for 2 or 3 turns, and a 1/8 chance each for 4 or 5 turns.`
