⚔️ Bide | Gen 1

Bide is a Normal-type move in which the user stores energy for 2–3 turns. During this time, the user takes damage as normal but cannot act. At the end of the duration, the user attacks the last Pokémon that damaged it, dealing typeless damage equal to twice the total damage taken during the storing turns. This damage ignores type effectiveness and always hits regardless of accuracy or evasion. If the user takes no damage while storing energy, the attack fails. The user can switch out during Bide in this generation. Sleep, freeze, flinching, or binding pause the counter but do not reset it.
