Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remained faithful to the original storyline, following the player's journey to become Sinnoh Champion while confronting Team Galactic. Legendary Pokémon Dialga (in Brilliant Diamond) and Palkia (in Shining Pearl) once again played central roles in the narrative.
