Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon

• Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, enhanced versions of the original games, launched globally in November 2017, with a new story and additional features.
• Generation 7 introduced Z-Moves, powerful, one-time-use attacks that can be activated by using a Z-Crystal.
• Totem Pokémon, stronger versions of certain Pokémon found in Totem Battles, were also introduced in Generation 7.

The seventh generation of Pokémon games introduced the tropical paradise of the Alola region in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon, drawing inspiration from Hawaii. This gave the games a distinct cultural flavor and introduced new and diverse Pokémon species.

One of the most notable features introduced in Generation 7 was Z-Moves. These were incredibly powerful attacks that could be used once per battle by utilizing a Z-Crystal. Z-Moves allowed players to potentially change the course of a battle by unleashing devastating attacks.

Another addition were Totem Pokémon. These were enhanced versions of certain Pokémon encountered in Totem Battles. Totem Battles were challenging encounters that required players to employ strategy and teamwork to defeat these strong opponents.

The games also introduced the Rotom Dex, a customizable Pokédex that offered various forms of assistance to players. It could provide information about Pokémon, offer navigation guidance, and even allow players to play mini-games.

Generation 7 further explored Alolan forms. Certain Pokémon adapted to the unique environment of Alola, resulting in different appearances. In most cases, Alolan forms possessed different types and abilities compared to their standard counterparts, adding a completely new dimension to the gameplay.
