🌊 A new era on Game Boy Advance
The third generation of Pokémon — Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald — marked a leap forward. As the first entries on the Game Boy Advance, they showcased enhanced graphics, richer sound, and a vibrant tropical setting inspired by Japan’s Kyushu island.
📜 Legendary-driven storylines
Ruby and Sapphire introduced 135 new Pokémon, bringing the total to 386. Their plots centered on the legendary Groudon and Kyogre, whose weather‑altering powers threatened Hoenn. Emerald expanded the narrative, featuring both villainous teams and Rayquaza as the peacemaker.
